Hand with Kite String

Remember the book, “The Kite Runner” ? The way the boys would try to make their opponent’s kite fall to the ground by slicing through the string with their own, glass covered, kite string?
We noticed a few men adding ground glass to kite string as we drove out of Ahmedabad. They were easy to spot as their “factory” was a few parking places on the side of a boulevard. As with almost all Indians, they were happy to be photographed.
