I think I shot this from the veranda of our little house on the water. The hotel consisted of maybe 30 or more little huts, but with all the amenities, built in the same way as all the floating villages on the lake are. When a long tailed boat passed at full throttle, the wake would cause our house to rock. I could go out on the veranda in early morning or late night or at any time for that matter and try to get some interesting shots.
