My guide, Daniel Gheorghita (www.covinnus.com) and I were rather stalwart in our pursuit of photographs. We were undeterred by rain or snow. Despite the gloomy weather, this graveyard outside one of Romania’s wooden churches is rather cheerful with its hand carved wooden headstones and colorful flowers. I like the foggy sky and the interlaced branches of the bare trees that fill the sky. The contrast emphasizes the colors and shapes of the cemetery headstones.
