Tea Time in Uzbekistan

Fergana Valley, Uzbekistan 2012

An elderly man, who appeared woozy, sat on a cement wall. His family, mostly women, hovered over him with worried expressions. One of the women, reached into her carryall, retrieved a large thermos and poured out a cup of tea. The man sipped slowly and his strength seemed to return. Maybe it was the tea and maybe he felt better because the women were attending to him.
