Another of my posters. How could I not try to do something extra with this scene? When I look at it, I can almost hear Bing Crosby crooning and steel guitars twanging…maybe not together, but why not?
If you get a chance to take a rice boat cruise, do. The gentle, almost imperceptible motion of the boat as it slides up and down the rice canals is tranquilizing. I can still remember that feeling of floating over the water. Lovely. And the frequent calls to come to the table to enjoy fresh delicacies. Paradise.
