Bucharest, Romania 2012
The rain had stopped. People surged back into the narrow streets after huddling under the eaves of the historical old buildings. This man stared from his window on an upper floor. He is old enough to remember Bucharest when it was called “the Paris of eastern Europe”.
Another ‘photo walk’ shot. I had finished all of my books. CNN was the only TV show I could understand. My hotel was deserted except for me and maybe one other person. Thank God I had my camera. It gave me purpose.
