A young village girl, maybe ten years old carries water to her home. She wears an ankle length longji and blouse…the same outfit worn by adult women in Burma. Her small but muscular arms keep the shoulder yoke steady as she hurries home on bare feet. It was evening, dinner time. Perhaps it was her job to cook the rice.
