Kenya, 1994… or thereabouts
Luck is a factor in photography. It is in my photography, anyway.
I was lucky to go to Kenya on Safari.
I was lucky to have a good camera and lots of film.
I was lucky to have a clear shot of these zebras who luckily were drinking with their heads side by side.
I was lucky in the darkroom when I rolled my film onto the reel. So many times, I made a mess of things and my best shots would come out ruined.
So here is the product of all that luck. And despite the years that have passed, the shot makes me happy.
