I’m trying to vary the photos although at present I’m fascinated with my photographs from Ethiopia.
Here’s a photo to make you smile. I saw a post saying that these cats at the monastery of Nga Phe Kyaung were being ill treated. Let me say that is not the case. This woman was gentle. She’d stroke the breast and neck of the cat with the hoop. If the cat looked up, she knew it would jump. If it ignored the stroking, she’d get another cat and try again. Most cats cooperated. Then they were given a treat of some sort.
