Hidden in Plain Sight

A small storage room made by early Native Americans. They are called ancestral Puebloans nowadays. They used to be called Anasazi. Most likely they stored food in here…corn or grain. Whatever they could preserve by drying.

Shelters like this are practically invisible when you are standing below them. It is exciting to be in the wilderness and come upon houses or small villages hidden in the cliffs. Of course, I had an expert guide to point things out to me.
