Girl and Llama
Cusco, Peru 2004
We drove up the mountain, leaving Cusco in the valley below. My cup of coca tea had temporarily stilled my burgeoning headache and wooziness. I was ready to photograph! Luckily there were children dressed in their native clothes standing on the side of the road. Some held parrots and some held llamas. I liked this little girl with her rather stand-offish expression…was it me or was it the rough tongue of her llama?
A definite big winner!
