Abstract Flamingo

Using cropping squares, which I have left over from darkroom days, is still helpful when cropping on your computer. I had printed this full size but it seemed lacking. Then I tried different crops using my old cropping squares. I found this abstract look I liked. It also inspired me to soften the colors. Having the print on the table in front of me and moving the squares over the image made the process more “concrete”. Try it.
