Morocco in the late 90’s
A nomad woman stares me in the eye as she gathers her baby goats to set on her pack mule. The small family, composed of this woman, her husband and baby, were moving to better grazing. She did all the work. Her husband, dressed in a blue suit with a yellow chech, waited patiently. I’m sure she was quicker to accomplish the chores and besides, he surely didn’t want to muss his suit.
