It looks like he is beseeching. Is he? It is my idea that we imbue “others” with characteristics from our own experiences. We think we know what is going on but we don’t.
This photo was shot in 2009. I took jillions of photos of the Theyyam. And I’ve just decided that this is one of my best. What took me so long? The other thing I notice when I look back over my photos is that on some I did a poor job of post-processing. Maybe it was my best work at the time, but now I think of things I should have done. I hope it means that I’m making progress.
