Prehistoric

Arizona, U.S.A. 2009

Saguaro cactus cover the hillsides of a National Park near Tucson, Arizona. The smaller cactus is called Cholla cactus or Teddy Bear Cactus, but it is anything but cuddly. I spent a lot of time removing needles from my clothing and my skin. The cactus needles seemed to leap onto me if I just brushed past.
